The Fantasia Party was a lot of fun. 3/4 of the people who said they were going to come chickened out and never showed up. It's so rude to say you'll be somewhere and then not even have the courtesy to call and say you can't make it (two people did phone and they are excluded from the bitching). There were eight people there including Amanda, Kate (Amanda's kick-ass roomie) and myself. We got to sample all sorts of lubricants and massage oils and powders. Most of them tasted really good. There was this Strawberry Champagne lube and Kate and Amanda thought it tasted better than the Cappuchino O'My lube we tried in Toronto a few weeks ago. I liked the Cap a teensy bit better, but this Strawberry stuff was a close second.

There was this one oil-like thing that all the girls tried on in the bathroom. You are supposed to put it on your clitoral hood for a stimulating sensation. Once you put it on, you feel absolutely nothing, then about a minute later, it feels really really cold. Kinda of like the cooling sensation you get after you eat a very strong mint. Then, it starts to tingle... and tingle... and tingle. It felt like you had just stuck a cinnamon heart in your vagina! Kate and I were feeling slightly uncomfortable during the presentation. I don't know what it would be like to use with a partner though. Amanda loved the numbing lotion since it gave her relief from her three-day toothache! She was also overjoyed when she found out it relieved any pain, even migraines, as well.

The vibrators brought on a big giggle fest. Especially the one that lit up in crazy colours. It scrolled through the rainbow. You could have set it in the middle of a dance floor at a club to light the place up. Most of the vibes were animals, but there was one that, despite having an animal name, looked quite unbeastly.

The biggest seller at the party was this little gel cushion in the shape of a heart that heated up big time when you cracked a little metal bit inside of it. At first I thought the price of $15 was a bit much for a heated gel pad you could find almost anywhere, but then the consultant explained that it was reusable, which made it's value go up even more. Almost everybody at the party bought one. We cleaned the consultant out of her supply!

For the snacks, Amanda, Kate and I did indeed make a penis cake. It didn't quite turn out like we wanted since the cake kept flaking off into the icing. Our real accomplishment was the gingerbread house we assembled to represent the Playboy Mansion. Kate did an amazing job with the bunny design and we had a great time decorating the cake with different genitalia. We even made a Hugh Hefner (what's the Mansion without Hugh?) whom I got to eat. We also made a veggie tray and some nacho dip for those with less of a sweet tooth. I'll post pictures of the food table after I get Amanda's copies of all the pictures.

While everyone was taking turns purchasing items, some of us decided to try on a bit of the lingerie. Amanda and I put on the "schoolgirl" outfit, which was a bit too skimpy for our liking. Kate tried on a red lacy nightie thing and I also tried on a green thing kind of like a teddy. I don't really know how to describe it.

After the consultant and the other guests left, Amanda, Kate and I hung around and opened up our purchases. Kate and I both got vibrators (I got mine for free) and then Amanda and Kate raced their bullets across the table. Kate's actually managed to go in a straight line! We spent a couple hours in the living room exchanging stories and resampling all the lubes and creams. All in all, the evening was soooo much fun. The people who never showed up missed out on a lot. Ugh, it's rather late and I've got to get up über-early tomorrow since I've got 12 tonnes of stuff to get done tomorrow. *sigh*

And, no, I haven't tried out the vibrator yet... Perverts!
