3:00 pm today was the appointment that was set for me (and a helluva lot of people) to pick courses for next term. Although I went in as soon as my clock said "3:00pm", I still wasn't fast enough and the classes filled up in no time. I got three out of the five I wanted so I suppose I should be happy about that. The other two, I had to make do with what I could get so the times aren't as good as I would have liked. I'll just have to learn to deal with it. So, for Winter term 2002, I have: Intro To Philosophy (8:30-9:30 MWF); English - Shakespeare (9:30-10:30 MWF); the Dark Side of Sexuality (7-10pm M); the Psychological Perspectives on Gender & Sex (10-11:30 TuTh); and Intro to Sociology (7-10pm Th). Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are gonna suck in the morning cuz I have ten minutes in between my classes! I have to get from the Arts Lecture Hall to St Jerome's in ten minutes! I'll have to really book it in the morning. And I have classes early every morning, which sucks. And really late classes, which sucks even more. But, I'll have Friday afternoons off, which is really good. Two three hour classes... I think I can handle that. Every single class is a lecture, so all I ever really have to do is take notes and keep up with the reading. I cross my fingers for me. It's not the best schedule but it's not the worst I could have either. I think the worst part will be leaving and coming home by myself at night cuz it'll be cold and dark. Either way, this is my schedule and I have to stick to it. I wish I could have taken Spanish though, but that one filled right up. Grr... I'm trying to get through Labatt Blue line to call Tim but stupid Labatt is always busy in the evenings. I wanna make my phone call! JeN's mind ejaculated @ 7:33 p.m. | | permalink
